I totally agree with you about the strawberries! I would always rather eat local than corporate organic food. It is always a blast to meet your local farmers, too! We have been enjoying wonderful local strawberries for a few weeks, and I hope that they stick around for a while, too. I also grow everbearing strawberries, so we should have those unitl the first frost.

I agree about loving french toast and would love to find a new source for local dairy products. I have found a farm that will allow us to buy a cow 'share' so that we can have fresh local raw milk, but I haven't decided what to do about that yet!

Goo goo ga choo, Bry!

I do like stuffed French Toast, too, Ladi--I like it with lightly sweetened cream cheese with a bit of raspberry jam. But when you have fresh strawberries--to heck with the cheese!

French toast is something of an art form for "tea" here in Hong Kong. Last week, I had the most delightful thick slices of bread made into a nice, light french toast - not greasy at all, and not soggy. And in between the two slices was a thin smear of peanut butter. Yum.

Oh no....I can say it now with total honesty...

I AM THE EGG MAN!

What would Lennon say, or Marx for that matter? I always did like Groucho's commentaries ;)

Thanks, Anon--the sydication was put together by a friend of mine probably two days after Tigers and Strawberries went up. He's been actively promoting the site ever since.

Glad to know you like to read here--I hope to hear from you again soon.
