Reading back over some old posts of yours. I have become a tigers and strawberries addict of the last month. I love your writing. Now I know where the strawberries in the website title comes from, do you love tigers as well?

Thank you, Mel. I will tell Morganna you what you said–she actually remembers that day, even though she was very, very tiny at the time.

She hasn’t changed much when it comes to garlic. She pronounces the word better, and isn’t as apt to half-stick it up her nose in the store as she used to be, but she is just as passionate about it.

Sorry you took up so much time, but I am glad you enjoyed reading my blog–and I do hope you come back.

Although I should have been doing other things, I just spent hours reading back posts of your blog in fascination. Your writing is smart and tasty and makes me want to cook more even though it's hard enough finding time for the cooking I do manage these days. Anyway, the story about Morganna and garlic just made me grin hugely.

Astrid–I know a lot of folks who don’t care for tomatoes. Zak will now eat them, though only in sauces. He will eat fresh tomatoes, but only in my fresh marinara or Calico salsa.

Me–I wait all year for tomato season and then eat them until I am sick of them. Except, usually the season runs out before I am really tired of them.
