I didn't get any marriage proposals, lol but my crush did ask me to the baseball that night ^-^. I posted a entry on my blog with your recipe and link. thanks for the awesome recipe...
I'd use half raspberries, half jam, as the jam has concentrated raspberry flavor from having large amounts of the water in the fruit boiled away.

Do you think I could use a scattering of fresh mashed raspberries instead of the jam, what with it being raspberry season now?

Meg--the Irish Cream redaction is easy--just follow the directions in my third comment here, and you can do it perfectly.

And yes, it can keep a marriage happy.

Welcome, Baklavaqueen! I am glad to meet you. Again--remember, these have a different texture, because of the way I put the recipe together, but once you get used to it, baking these brownies is a simple matter.

I came up with a pretty wicked chocolate concoction earlier this year... but you definitely have me outclassed when it comes to brownies! I salute you, Barbara! (And when I try the recipe, I will thank you even more, I'm sure!)

(Found you through another local-foods blog... glad to know there's another Ohioan interested in such!)
