I adore her books--I hadn't gotten the one she wrote with Scott yet, but I think I will so I can review it here.

					<description>I had not heard that Edna Lewis had passed away.  Her cookbooks are treasures in my collection.  It is from her that I learned to make my own baking powder.  She leaves a rich legacy of inspired cooking and gentle Southern hospitality.  I wish I could have known her in person but am grateful that I at least have all her books.  My sympathies are with Scott Peacock as he has lost a true friend.</description>
