Artichokes are out of my league--I have heard they are the devil to grow here in Ohio. I found myself gushing about each chapter to foodies and non-foodies alike, and I loved the way he kicks off most chapters with a story and pulls the narrative flawlessly into the very casually-written recipes that I'm very much looking forward to cooking my way though.
