All are welcome for the heads up!

Elise--I loved that bit about the "have sex with our womenfolk" bit, too. He is so right--widely spaced genes make for prettier people....

RS--I think that Bourdain is polarizing. I love him, but I don't always agree with him, but, even when I disgree, he amuses me!

Robbin--you are always welcome!

I'm a big fan as well- you can't go wrong with blunt, rude, and honest. The barrage of letters is telling, although I think largely people simply react to any mention of vegans, obscuring some of his more interesting points (or at least that was the case last I checked).

Hi Barbara,
Thanks for the heads up on the Bourdain interview. I loved it! I especially got a kick out of "I also like the idea of people from other places coming to our country and multiplying. It makes for better food, higher expectations, more diversity and cuter people. Foreigners should come to our country and have sex with our womenfolk."
