I found your link in my Hospitality Search Engine and included it in a post I did today to celebrate Spaghetti. Hope you don't mind. It was just too much fun not to include!!! Thank you so much for sharing...

An added bonus from eating a lot of alliums: I've found it keeps mosquitoes away too.

I'm not sure if Barbara can respond, so I hope she doesn't mind if I do. A ramp is a wild onion. They're difficult to find at stores, but fairly easy to find in the right kind of woods this time of year. You can google it.

And a suggestion for the vegetarians: sub one tsp miso for the anchovy paste to get that salty, umami flavor.

Barbara,
Hi, and thank you for your blog.
I was wondering if you're familiar with the Chesterhill Produce Auction. It's a great opportunity to buy local in quantity. As helpful as this might be for restaurants, etc., it is also a valuable resource for those who wish to preserve fresh, local food, but can't grow it themselves for some reason. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to contact us at Rural Action.
Again, Thank you

I'm fairly new to your blog so you may have already shared what ramps are in a previous post. But I am clueless. What are they?
