A ramp is a wild onion. They're difficult to find at stores, but fairly easy to find in the right kind of woods this time of year. You can google it. And a suggestion for the vegetarians: sub one tsp miso for the anchovy paste to get that salty, umami flavor. I’m not sure if Barbara can respond, so I hope she doesn’t mind if I do.
