My significant other and I were just at Half Price Books unloading three boxes of books he had culled from his collection. I noticed this book on an endcap and remembering this review of yours, started skimming through it while I waited for my man to get his price estimate.

Well... it ended up being an early Christmas present when he noticed I had trouble putting it back on the shelf. Plus it was a bargain! Another score at Half Price Books!

As a gardener, I love that it has recipes for vegetables that aren't as common in Western cuisine, or different twists on familiar vegetables. This will come in really handy next time I have a bumper crop of something.

And the fact that about half the book is vegetarian (a whole chapter on paneer, another whole chapter on legumes, and another whole chapter on other vegetables) really helps with my goal to eat less meat.

Oh, goody! I purchased this book a bit ago. I'm too in love with Kylie Kwong right now to look at it. I'm getting ready to leave on a trip to Victoria BC to see my daughter. She and her partner are strict vegetarians. I hope you can highlight some delightful vegetarian recipes for me to cook for them.
