Weekend Kat Blogging: Happy Father’s Day!

This picture is of Karl, Zak’s dad and Kat’s grandfather (obviously, huh?), cuddled up on the couch asleep with Kat and her monkey Melora.

This is the sight that greeted Zak when he came home from Morganna’s graduation last weekend. (We were in separate cars–we carpooled with all the relatives and friends who went). Karl had elected to stay home with Kat since Morganna only had six tickets to graduation to give away, and we were pretty sure Kat would have not behaved well at the ceremony.

From the picture it looks like they had a good time while we were gone.

The only thing missing from this picture is our cat Grimalkin, who had been curled up asleep on Karl’s legs when Zak came in, but once she woke up and saw the camera pointed in her direction, she hightailed herself out of the line of sight.

So, this is our Happy Father’s Day image for all the good daddies and grandpas out there in the land of food blogs.

I just hope Karl doesn’t take it too amiss that I am posting such a cute picture of him online for the world to see.
