I don't eat much meat in general, but due to a medical condition I was dealing with this winter I had severe anemia. And even taking the supplements I wanted MEAT, meat, and more MEAT. I have always loved liver, so that was a constant presence, and I learned a lot of new ways of making it.

Now I am doing better, and back to eating meat only once every 2-3 weeks, and not craving it. It's so interesting how your bodies ask for what you need.

This is a tangent, but I'm working my way through a silk road cookbook right now, and I've just finished making an herb omelet called "Kuku" (I think a local restaurant here calls it kuku sabzi). I'm totally enthralled, and I was wondering if you'd ever made it at Salaam, and if not, would you like the recipe? It' herby and completely delicious and seems like it might fit into the economics of a restaurant well......
