Thanks for the recipe!  I made this tonight, the first one of your recipes I&#039;ve made without messing with it.  It was good, but I should have messed a little -- my turmeric (Penzey&#039;s) is apparently much stronger than yours and I should have cut the amount.

Nice dal, though, and very easy to make.]]></description>
