Barbara - I am delighted to hear you won't need gallblader surgery. That is such terrific news.

Vitamin D has become my miracle drug. Not only has many of the ache & pains gone away but my head is so much clearer too. I no longer feel as if I am in a fog bank. My doctor increased my dosage to 50,000 twice a week because the numbers were not rising as they should. The first 6 months it went from 13 to 22. The next 3 months it slowed down and went only to 25.

Glad to hear you can eat cheese again! That's gotta be a huge relief! I had an ultrasound a few years ago, and it was clear. I just try to eat less fatty foods, and I'm OK. A friend of mine had a negative ultrasound too, but later went to the ER and had an emergency cholecystectomy. There were no stones, but there was "sludge," which did not show up on the ultrasound. So ya never know.

Thanks for your input/opinion on my modified boeuf borgignon recipe. Oh, it was delicious!
