Jan, I use mine all the time. At least once a week, often more, especially in the winter time. Here is a link to a listing of various pressure cookers on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=search-alias%3Dgarden&field-keywords=pressure+cooker&x=0&y=0

The one I now have is a six-quart Fagor, but if you look, the less expensive Presto models get high ratings, too. I love my Fagor--it has been going strong for about eight years now, and just now could use a new gasket. It still works, but takes a while to come to pressure.

I used to have a Hawkin's Futura, and I finally got rid of it, because the way the lid closes is kind of tricky. Cool, but tricky--it works like an airplane door!

I think I paid seventy dollars on the Fagor--it was well worth it.

Someday, I'd like to try a Kuhn Rikon, but I don't know if the extra money would be worth it, though.

Barbara, I haven't cooked with a pressure cooker since I was a teenager. I notice that you use yours fairly frequently - could you recommend one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks for pointing out the typo. It is cumin seed! I fixed it. That's what happens when I talk and write at the same time.
