It has been a very long time since I have met my old friend the London Broil.

It is a tough cut, but if you slice it right its an easy chew, and it loves a good marinade. This does look like a very good marinade.

Ginger, alepo, mirin, Jack ( altho I have used his good cousin bourbon ) have never been used for this.

Very envious Dan. Well deserved.

“I do a job…I get paid…” A very fitting “Malism,” considering the once-again adopted “Video Ronin” aspect of my life.

As usual, I have very little I feel I can add to what Barbara has already said, save that scouring through directory after directory, server log after server log, looking for nasty hacker code, and illicit points of entry was a small price to pay for this meal!

Try it!

Beyond that, I’ll just scuttle back to the engine room and try to keep this blog flying…

And considering conversation during and after the meal, there may well be more “Firefly” based cooking coming that extends beyond the blog.

But enough…

I speak out of turn…

I’m going to make this and eat it while I wear the Jayne hat I knit for my boyfriend! And I’ll throw on a Firefly DVD while I’m at it.

Maybe with a side of fresh bao? (“Quaint!”)

I love Firefly! For such a short lived show, the cast had great chemistry. I saw it for the first time on DVD, so at least I got to watch the episodes in the proper order. I’ll definitely give this steak a try.
