I edited to reflect the proper European pronunciation. In American English, it indeed rhymes with “Rome.” I had to look it up to make sure what I’d been hearing was correct. AND, as for the rice, I thought of it because I had leftovers of it.

But I will be trying it now! One other point: I don’t know what the pronunciation of tomme is in the US, but in France and Switzerland it actually rhymes with “rum”!
