I don't have any blueberries growing near me that I know of, but I used to pick them near my father's office building when I was a kid. Now, I know where to find wild blackberries, and I always make sure to grab them when they're ripe! I bought a book on urban foraging recently, that has great advice on finding wild edibles when you don't live in a very "wild" area. Thanks to that book, I made some great strawberry crumbles with Japanese knotweed instead of rhubarb this spring.

...I always spot blueberries, even if they aren't in season. Up here, they're on every mountain trail, and in the valleys are blackberries.

Do you ever find wild strawberries? I so want to taste some...

Welcome back - I hope you had a wonderful time. Finding wild blueberries was a definite plus. My parents used to go from Minnesota up into Canada each year blueberry picking bringing back gallons of them. It was wonderful sitting and eating them by the handful.
